Bandannas! (or bandanas)

Found these really nice ones, so got some to sell in the shop. Actually it all started with this:

Got this last year as a wall decor, i think its much more suited as a pirate flag than as a bandanna. It looks really nice, the design is not too typical but still has that rugged look, got one for a friend too, who is as weird in her tastes as me. Thought of it yesterday, so went down to the shop and saw the others, i only got a few of the ones i liked the most, nice decor for my walls, and anyone else who likes them too, you can get it from the shop for 6.50bucks each with free international shipping!

By the way, if you liked anything here which is sold in the shop, feel free to check it out as i do lower the prices in the shop but am too lazy to reflect it here, so you never know^^

American and Canadian patriotism, anyone?

This reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. i liked the vibrancy of the colors, and the sort of weirdness of it...
Motorcycles! I got a very "harley" feel from this, and i can totally imagine a biker wearing this. I dont think it is very nice aesthetically, but weirdly i liked it, i think it has a quirky charm...

Looking at these, i seem to get stuck in the red, blue, white black color scheme...though there were other designs and colors, but i felt that these were the nicest. maybe its a phase i am going through. Anyway, i have added some effects to the background of the photographs, to make them more interesting(its the first time i used photoshop!) but i made sure they didnt overpower the bandannas...my favourite designs are the first and last one, the skull and rider bandannas, what's yours?

A corporate take on greeting cards,

What is a greeting card?
A gift with predetermined meaning, a message with stereotyped content, a sign one meed not decipher.
But is this really true?
Behind the "ceremonious" communications, there are actually many hidden messages,
most of which are conveyed without words.
The choice of paper or other material, the color, the shape, the illustration or photography,
the typography - all these elements contribute to making each card an original creation.
The objective is to express the image of the sender to the receiver, with accuracy and creativity.
It also has to raise consensus and pride among the staff of the sending company.
Members of the banking industry will obviously be pleased to send their clients something
different from the usual "blank" message.
A greeting card is a reminder: "Please think of me!"
And the time that the receiver spends manipulating it makes a lot of difference.
Then comes the verdict: will it be thrown away or kept for a while?
Will it be appreciated to the point of being push-pinned on the wall?
Greeting cards have a limited lifetime.
They can therefore venture beyond the boundaries of typical brand or corporate territory,
providing they do it with style.
They can even borrow codes that usually belong to other brand territories.
One of the most effective devices is to think of a greeting card in terms of a series and
develop a demand for this "once a year" privileged contact.
(No need to shout very loud to make oneself heard.)

-Alain LACHARTRE
CEO & Creative Director / Vue sur la Ville - Paris

For me, I try to make a card that is conceived from my image of the recipient, rather than of me, coming from a completely different viewpoint. From a corporate perspective, it is to remind the recipient of their existence; for a personal card, especially birthday cards, I feel that in showing your interpretation of the receiver, you are showing your care for them, through your understanding of them. While making cards, I always hoped that they would be able to convey the message I am trying to express, and get the honor of being kept and cherished!

cheers.

Turquoise veined earrings:

Turquoise veined earrings in various styles.

Sophisticated and feminine, these earrings are suitable for almost all occasions. There is a timeless feel to these and can be kept for years. The turquoise beads goes well with the silver of the metal and please take note that the veining of each turquoise bead may differ from the photo. Prices are either 4.50 or 5.50 bucks, with free international shipping.
Please just browse through the shop for the one you like!
Jewels and metal:

Orange jewels and metal earrings.

This pair of earrings is glamorous and classy, perfect for evening wear. Its not a big pair, you can refer to the page in the shop for dimensions. It catches light well, which makes it well-balanced for its size, any larger would make it seen gaudy. At 6.50bucks a pair with free international shipping, get it here.
More metal earrings:

Stars chain and wavy circle metal earrings.

The stars on the earrings swivel as you move, making it a 'cute and bouncy' earring. The chain reminds me keychains though, so any takers? The one on the right is more 'classy', the color of the whole earring is the same, my lighting made it seem different. You can take it as the top shinier rectangular piece is what it looks like when it catches light, and the bottom part is when there is low lighting. 5.50bucks each, with free international shipping. The stars earrings here, and the wavy circles here.

Flexible metal earrings:

Metal spirals and helix earrings that are flexible.

These earrings have the whole 'contemporary modern' look, being sleek and shiny. Although useless, the coolest thing is that they are flexible(as you can see from the picture) so fun! That's my inner geek speaking. Don't you just think its cool that you can bend your earrings without it breaking? You can play with it when you're bored! So at the price of 5.50bucks with free international shipping, its more like buying a pair of earrings AND a toy, or a toy masquerading as a pair of earrings. Anyway, stocks are limited for these too, so get the circle spirals one here, and the helix ones here.
Silver plate earrings:

Flower, snowflake and spiderweb in a hoop.

Bright light-reflecting earrings, sure to draw attention at any party! Each appeals to people with different styles, I like the spiderweb one most, it reminds me of Halloween^^ 5bucks each with free international shipping. Dimensions are available here, to get the flower, snowflake or spiderweb.
More wooden earrings:

Wooden cut-through and painted earrings.

Different colors different styles, the ones on the left are flowers cut-through in natural(unpainted) and the bottom one painted in black. The middle column, top one a butterfly cut-through in a star, and bottom, black painted bird cut-through in a circle. The ones in the right, pink and brown abstract patterns painted on one side and the other, blank. Complements summer fashion, you can paint the naturals to suit that dress, or add glitter to make it shine in the sun. 4.50bucks each with free international shipping, get it in time for summer!

Wooden flower carved earrings:

Wooden earrings, carved with flowers or roses.

These wooden earrings are quite feminine, and well detailed. The all natural ones on the left column are unpainted, merely carved and sanded for a smooth finish. They look so natural, going well with country-style clothing or just any summer wear. The others are painted in white, black or dark coffee brown. The ones in the right column are both brown. For larger photos and dimensions, please visit their respective pages. 5bucks each, with free international shipping.

Denim earrings:

Dark and light blue denim rose stud earrings.

Cutesy and quirky, a pair of casual and "fun" earrings. The dark blue pair is not as colorful, only abit of pink and green. The light blue ones have more colors of paint on the fabric. Goes well with summer clothes at 4.50bucks each, with free international shipping. Not many pieces in stock, so get the dark blue rose here and light blue rose here.
Tribal-inspired:

Circle metal plates earrings and leaf shaped fish hook earrings.

The circle metal plate earrings are really nice, well detailed and though the color may be abit off(as you can see in the photo, the bottom of the larger circle) I think it makes it more vintage-y, sort of like the dented and well-worn kind of feel. The leaf earrings are well detailed too, as you can see from the photos, the dots on each layer of the leaf can be seen quite clearly. Both are rather large pieces, check out the pages in the shop for the actual size of the circle metal plates or the leaf earrings. Surprisingly lightweight too, as it is just a metal plate. At 6.50bucks each with free international shipping, why not? Its metal, it won't break easily, plus its so big, you won't misplace it that easily too!
Ribbons earrings:

Red, green and brown toned plaid ribbon earrings.

Three different colors, three different styles. The red one is cheery, the brown one is classical and the green one is ...different(and also my favorite). Matches cutesy outfits, or just pair it with normal jeans and tee, so that it stands out! 4bucks each, with free international shipping. 2 in stock for each color, get the red, green or brown. I think the green one is the nicest, its not as cutesy and the color is slightly weird, unexpected. Sort of reminds me of this cartoon anime character, for whatever reason o.O
What do you think?
